On August 22nd, 2010 the biggest VW and Audi car show in Colorado was held at Pikes Peak International Raceway in Fountain CO. Dubs along the Rockies is in its 9th year as an event and each year it grows larger and becomes more of a must go to show. Bluewater Performance saw this as the perfect opportunity get involved with and give back to the VW/Audi community by being the title sponsor. Last year was our first year sponsoring the event and we were excited to be back. It turned out to be a perfect day with the temeratures in the mid 80s , not a cloud in the sky, and with a slight breeze. All day at the booth we gave away coupons, stickers, water, and raffled two ECU upgrades which were won by one of our customers, Jordan Tinney and a fellow R32 owner. It was an amazing turnout with cars ranging from old VW AirCooled's to an Audi R8. In addition to the car show, there was Auto Cross event, Slow Drags, Legends Race Cars, and raffles going on so there was no shortage of fun throughout the day. The award ceremony was awesome! We had two Bluewater Performance built cars take both first place and best of show in their class.  Congratulations to Jason Koenig and his 2004 VW R32 Turbo and Tony Ling and his 1971 VW Beetle. We would also like to thank all the other sponsors and everyone that helped put the show together and especially everyone that came to show support.
