Leo's Project Delta R32

Summer is finally here and we have another big turbo R32 build for everyone. Leo Ahmed contacted us last October wanting to purchase an AWD Audi TT or a 2004 VW R32 and wanted to then turn it into a Lambo killing monster. With HP goals over 600whp we knew this was going to be a fun project. So 2 months ago we received the call that he had purchased an 04 R32 from one of our other customers and that he would be dropping it off for the transformation. Below is the list that we are starting with

  • Precision Turbo with Ceramic Ball Bearing and Billet Compressor Wheel 6765
  • Cast Turbo Exhaust Manifold
  • Tial  44mm WG
  • Stainless Steel 3" V-Band Downpipe
  • Stainless Steel Intercooler Piping With Treadstone Intercooler
    • 3" High Flow Cat
    • 870cc Injectors
    • Injector Adapter Harnesses
    • Bluewater Pro-MAF
    • United Motorsport Turbo Software
  • ARP Head Studs
  • Forge SuperDV
  • Moly Coated Bearings
  • JE Moly Coated Pistons
  • IE H Beam Connecting Rods Rifle Drilled
  • Milltek Cat-Back Exhaust
  • Upper and Lower Bluewater Control Arms
  • Diesel Geek Short Shifter
  • Cross Drilled and Slotted Rotors and EBC Pads
  • Smoked Out Headlights
  • 22mm Rear Swaybar
  • Twin Disk Custom Clutch and Flywheel Kit
  • Bosch 044 Fuel Pump With Fittings

QuickFlow Short Runner Intake (SRI)

This is quite a list and not included on the list is some other maintenance pieces and some custom paint work we are doing.

So here is the start/teardown.

The block still needs to be sent next door to get dunked in the hot tank and cleaned but as soon as we get it back we can start the assembly process.

Update: 6-14-2011

Well we have the long block almost finished and everything is coming
together nicely. We are using ARP head studs and they are much better
than the Raceware ones that we had been previously using so we are very
happy.
